Former North Tongu DCE Osborn K. Divine Fenu reportedly dies in an accident near Central University.

Reports reaching Afreeka Lens indicate that Hon. Osborn K. Divine Fenu, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for North Tongu, has reportedly died following a fatal road accident.

 

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred earlier today near Central University on the Accra–Aflao Highway. Mr. Fenu was said to be traveling to Accra when the accident happened.

 

He was reportedly rushed to the Tema General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Eyewitness accounts suggest that he had earlier been seen in Battor attending to a family matter before embarking on the journey.

 

While details remain sketchy, close associates and residents in the district have expressed shock over the news. Official confirmation from the North Tongu District Assembly or the Ghana Police Service is yet to be released.

 

Hon. Osborn K. Divine Fenu served as the DCE for North Tongu under the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and was known for his involvement in various community development initiatives across the district.
